Inventory & Warehouses

Overview

EZCart's inventory system supports multi-warehouse operations with real-time stock tracking, automatic reservations, and low-stock alerts.

Warehouses

Creating a Warehouse

1. Navigate to Settings > Warehouses
2. Click Create Warehouse
3. Enter the warehouse name, address, and contact details
4. Set this as default warehouse if needed

Multi-Warehouse Setup

You can manage inventory across multiple warehouses:

• Each product can have stock in multiple locations
• Orders are fulfilled from the assigned warehouse
• Transfer stock between warehouses as needed

Stock Management

Adding Stock

1. Go to Inventory
2. Select a product
3. Click Adjust Stock
4. Enter the quantity and reason for adjustment
5. Select the warehouse

Stock Reservations

When an order is created, EZCart automatically reserves the required stock:

• Reserved stock is deducted from available quantity
• If the order is cancelled, the reservation is released
• You can see reserved vs. available stock at a glance

Low-Stock Alerts

Set up alerts to never run out of stock:

1. Go to Settings > Inventory
2. Set a low-stock threshold per product or globally
3. Receive notifications when stock drops below the threshold

Sync with External Stores

If you use Shopify or WooCommerce:

• Inventory syncs in real-time between platforms
• Orders from any channel update stock automatically
• No manual reconciliation needed
